Hi Everyone, Today i check my ecas and it mentioned that's what i saw in it "We sent you a notice on March 11, 2019 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on May 3, 2019 at 1:00 PM." Finally long wait is about to end. Good luck everyone.

Yes, I called them many time, it was background/security clearance issue. Every time they say, they can not do anything. Even I forget about it and after long time, i checked and status was changed to DM. I called them again and they sent message to local office for oath.

Finally My Application Status changed to Decision Made.

I am waiting for oath as well since February.

Yes, my file is under security clearance, don't what are they doing. I called few times, they said you will get citizenship before Oct, 2018 and right now nothing is required from my side.

There must be something related to security clearance with your file as well. Probably officer forgot to tell you. It also depends on officer if he want let you know about security clearance or not. In my case officer told me about it, So i have not choice other than wait, but office also told...

They told me after exam and during document verification.

My file is also stuck after exam (Feb 7) in Calgary office because of security clearance. Don't how long will it take.

I passed my test on 7th Feb (Calgary) and officer told me that my file is marked for Security Clearance. She advised me that usually it cleared in couple of days but some time it take more, but give them a call if it's takes more than a month. Anyone is in same boat as me? and knows more about...

Hi Everyone, I went for Test today and passed. But officer told me that my file is under security clearance and once they get clearance they will update status. Not sure how much time will it take for security clearance... any idea?

Anyone knows where to go for Fingerprints in Calgary. And do they sent it directly to CIC?
