Hi everyone, Received my CoPR in the mail yesterday!! I went straight to the border (15 minutes away) and landed without problems. Went into the USA, turned around and re-entered Canada. After a few signatures, the process was finished. SO HAPPY! Such a huge relief.. and also bitter sweet. The...

Waiting for PPR after Medicals - Add your case here

My ecas took nearly a full month before it was updated after having my medical. Keeping checking the 'in process' link as the results will be added to the following page underneath 'we started processing your application on..' Looking at the monthly spreadsheets, 4 weeks is not uncommon

    Requesting your complete documents record

I don't think so... I tried the same thing when trying to calculate the countries I had visited in the last 10 years. I asked border control agents in both Canada and the UK for a history. Neither could help me or knew where this information would be stored. Are you able to ask this person if...

Thanks JSM :) I Hope so. I have a medical condition that I was worried about. I declared it during the medical and he took additional notes. Would I have heard from the Doctor if it was going to affect the application or is that decided by CIC after the fact? That's why I'm a little worried...

My ECAS updated today. Still 'in process' but once the link is opened it says 'medical results recieved' I think I'm from a visa exempt country (UK) but not entirely sure how that works.. If so, am I just waiting on a decision made and COPR? Thanks

No news. Just hoping there is not a problem- although I didn't not hear anything back from the Doctor which from what i've read is good news. I have also looked at the other months' spreadsheets and many take around 4 weeks from the medical for the ECAS to get updated so I'm not getting too...

Hi Maddy, Quick question for you- has your ecas status been updated to medical recieved yet? I see we had medicals done around the same time but mine still says in process. Thanks! Happy new years!

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Hi Dreams, Yes this is normaly language used in the RPRF email. I too had this on mine when I got it last week. I understood it as we have passed eligibility criteria and the remaining is still ongoing. Pay the fee, have your Medical, send biodata and sit back and wait a little longer! Good luck

Claiming EI whilst having a PR application submitted

Wondered if anyone knows the answer or who has experience in this area... If you have an application in for CEC PR, do you think claiming employment insurance (EI) would affect your application whilst it is being processed? It is obviously not worth jeopardising the application.. but are they...

I had this same problem initially. Turned out my last name had to be in capital letters... try that

Yep- I actually have 3 codes for different 'skilled' jobs that I have worked over the last 3 years in Canada. This is allowed. You have to have over 1 years full time (or equivalent) experience. It does not state anywhere that this must be in 1 job only. This would only be relevant in 'Skilled...
