great! Out of curiosity - isnt the FBI clearance to be sent with the application? I did that for my wife, did I do something wrong?

My wife had applied for FBI clearance in second week of Jan and she got the reply in second week of March Generally it takes anywhere from 8 weeks to 10 weeks. I guess mentioning the urgency does not hurt and neither does it expedite.

Generally It is not a good idea to send a package with "delivery confirmation" becuase if there is no one available to sign it is re attempted and again if there is no one to sign it is sent back. See if you can change the option with the UPS to only have it delivered without confirmation. If...

PR card only determines his status in Canada and US does not consider it as a travel document into US. If you do not fall under the exempt countries list (entry without visa) you will not be permitted into US without visa on basis of PR.
