The problem is, you are comparing a suburb, to a major city. That's like saying, a Ferrari is better than a Prius. While most would agree, you have to compare the same things. If you are speaking about gas milage and cost of maintenance, Prius wins.

I personally haven't heard of any. I know there's China Town, Little Italy, and the village, but outside of that I can't think of any other ethnicities/lifestyles that are specifically prominent. There are so many different types of people in MTL!
