    - You can request Police Clearance Cert now if you want. However, police clearance cert's validity is only 6 months. I would wait until they request your PCC first if I were you. If you request it too early, PCC might get expired even before the immigration officer start looking into the file. -...

Hello, I have this question. Could anyone help me answer, please ? I'm planning to apply a super visa for my mom while waiting for her parental sponsorship to be processed. Does the super visa application cause any trouble for the parental sponsorship application ? Thanks,

Parents & Grandparents Program (PGP) 2023

I find it's strange ! the invitation draw will happen next week but so far the CIC hasn't announced the income requirement for year 2022. They reduced the income requirements for 2021 and 2020 due to Covid. But with the inflation ongoing, I'm curious to know how high the income requirement for...

Parents & Grandparents Program (PGP) 2023

Ah I see. Hmmm, they increased the invitations numbers from 23,200 in 2022 to 24,200 in 2023, but still keep the same accepted PR application as 15k. It's somehow giving me the feeling that there will be more disqualified applications (I might be wrong, just my speculation). Anyway, thanks...

Parents & Grandparents Program (PGP) 2023

Sorry let me re-words it differently. IRCC is going to accept 15k applications from from the 24,200 invitations sent out this year. 24200 - 15000 = 9200. So in this 9200 applications, it can't be all 9200 applications disqualified because their are not meeting the requirements. My question is...

 holy moly ! They still refuse those PR applications, even though it meets all the requirements?

Parents & Grandparents Program (PGP) 2023

Well, IRCC tried many systems before this. Back in 2014 they stop PGP completely with the reason the backlog was so high, the processing time was estimated up to 10 years (or more) to complete. People criticized the first come first serve system back then (processing time too long, some parents...

Parents & Grandparents Program (PGP) 2023

I have a question Naturgrl. What will happen to the 40% people but they are meeting the requirements? Will they be sent back to the pool and waiting for the next draw or IRCC still accept those people (which mean IRCC willing to take more than 15k people) ?

Parents & Grandparents Program (PGP) 2023

Welp ! I thought IRCC was going to sent out 28,500 invitations for 2023 as mentioned in their 2023-2025 Immigration Levels Plan. But 24,200 invitations for 2023 is also good, at least it's already more than 2022 (23,100 invitations). Just dont know how long it will take to clear all 132,213 Sigh !

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2022

They did revised their website to have it saying " For the 2022 intake, we invited potential sponsors from the pool of 155,313 remaining potential sponsors who submitted an interest to sponsor form in 2020. We sent 23,100 invitations to apply in order to reach our goal of accepting up to 15,000...

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2022

That's sadly true. I hope they would look at income requirement since 2017 too, but same as you, my feeling says they will just look at 3 years prior the application submission date. I have been trying to meet the incomes requirement since 2017 regardless the state of the economy. I guess the...

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2022

That's is correct. CIC wont have ability to see the applicant's eligibility until all forms are submitted. However, on one of the form they will ask you to grant them your authorization so they can access your incomes from CRA department. Of course you can deny giving them their access, then...

Well, I missed another year, see you all again next year https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/family-sponsorship/sponsor-parents-grandparents/selected.html but damn still 182,113 people left in the pool @_@

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2022

If that the case, then I think the pool might shrink significantly every year, cuz they will keep adding more years to be qualified for sponsor's incomes or at least it's my wishful thinking.

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2022

Yes, however when they opened the pool in 2020, they clearly stated at that time that if you get the invitation in 2020 you need to qualify incomes for 2018, 2019 and 2020. So technically if you already knew back in 2020 that you did not have enough income to sponsor in 2019, you shouldn't enter...
