    do they always ask to bring PR photos to the interview? I had mine sent with application...maybe those pics are considered to expire by the time of actual PR card issue? just do not want to spend extra 40$ again :D >:(

    I called CIC today about my landing interview too. I was told it takes from 2 to 6 weeks to schedule an appointment. Within these weeks one shouldn't worry. And they checked my case and assured that mine wasn't scheduled yet. (Hamilton)

    I would apply for the Travel Document. What for do you need Travel Document? Do you still need that if you come back to Canada as PR?

    Hi Victorswife! It's Credit Institute of Canada. It helps if your work is related with Credit and Collections. That's just what I used to do for a living back in my country. I'm interested in Basic course for now just to know Canadian specifics. Not sure if i wanna pay though....

    I have a question somebody here may help.. I'm thinking to apply for Online courses. They give you a certificate after completing 3-4 months course. A person outside Canada even may be admitted. Am I eligible for that? I think yes.

    i went to Service Ontario in Burlington to apply for OHIP. They told me that no Office in my city can do it with my AIP I have to go to Oakville/Hamilton. And some offices are closed this Monday The same thing will be with SIN i suppose

    my parents came here twice. First it was when i only moved here and didn't even apply for sponsorship yet. We asked for 2 weeks to attend my wedding. Second time we asked for multi-entry visas and they both had 10-year long visas. While i'm still waiting for AIP and can not leave the country...
