Just to let everyone know, they started processing my file in Cairo on June 22, 2010...my husband received an email from the embassy in Cairo and a letter by mail. I was delayed in send my application to Quebec, but this is what there waiting for now in Cairo...

I think it is usually updated on Tuesdays.

I could sign into ecas on June 8th, the day after the letter was sent. I was told that you can only sign in once the first decision is made.

Congrats Vervain ! I got mine today to, letter dated June 7, received today June 14th. Im in quebec so I have to file the quebec application now...File has been sent to Cairo, yipeeeeeee!

I just thought of something just to let you all know, the call center agent told me that I would not be able to see anything on ecase until the application was actually processed and decision made...maybe thats why nothing is appearing yet, but it doesnt mean ure file is not being worked on. And...

and by the way, Im in Quebec not the USA. First step being done in Mississauga and then file being sent to Cairo Egypt, where my husband is. Hope this clarifies

I sent in my application to Mississauga on 7th by UPS, it was received on May 10th... I called the call center today June 7th and they have my application and work is being done on it. She told me there is no final desicion yet but it looks really good so far and they have instructed for my file...
