We are sponsoring my husband's 17 yr old son from Cuba... application sent and approved Nov 2016. Mexico VO AOR (2) March 31 2017..... our Status reads the same as yours.

In our case we sent a certified translated copy of birth certificate.

Miguel has been very quiet with our file as well. No updates since March 31 which was AOR (2) and Medical Results recieved. We are sponsoring my husband's youngest son. Application sent Nov 16 2016

We are sponsoring my husband's youngest son as a dependant child from Cuba to Canada. Mexico received and started processing his application March 31 2017. Medical Results Received. We're going crazy waiting. We sent in Application November 16 2016, we were cleared as sponsors December 2016.

A question, why do some spousal sponsorships going through the Havana Visa Office finalize after an average of 4 months with no interviews yet sponsorships of dependant children are taking much longer? Dependant children are already in the CIC system as they were listed as unaccompanied...

When I linked my step son's application I changed the number to 3 and it worked after days of being locked out.
