I am still waiting. I received an email on Nov 19th stating that they are still waiting for the medical assessment... I mean come on! ECAS still hasn't changed. I know its the last leg of the journey, but still, the wait is excruciating.

Hey Sponbd, No news still. My MP sent them an email. The response indicated that they will process it fairly quickly once the medical has been approved. So I guess I just have to wait and see. All they (RMO) has to do is look at the medical chest x-rays, so I hope it doesn't take too long.

Yes I believe you have Visa, otherwise why would they return the passport. Sometimes they don't update the in process thing. My friend's status is also in process even though his wife has landed in Canada. So don't worry, I am pretty sure you got it my friend.

Hey Aiisha, I leave no degree. Forms should already indicate you are going to school. You can write a separate note and attach it to the form indicating that you are just about to complete your degree and sign the form. Couldn't hurt.
