I read in some thread that once you send all documents electronically, you will get passport request, it gets stamped and you will get it back. Simple and straightforward. Someone living in USA had processed PRTD that way and he got one year multiple entry prtd.

I just applied for this through email for my wife and son in India....

I applied for renewal of PR card in March. 28th February my application reached the office. I got an email on 17th July saying there is update on my application. I went online and checked that my application for PR card was approved and is being sent by post.

you must have lived 2 years in the past five years at the time of application to renew PR Card. Let say. you arrive here in 2021....you still have two more years to renew PR card. If you come here in 2023, wait for two years and then apply for PR card, however you cannot travel until you get...
