Yep they come in a envelope with "DO NOT BEND" on them. Which Canada Post promptly disregards when stuffing it in your mailbox. No signature required. You will have to sign for passport so if you're not home they'll redirect it to a local post office.

They ask you at the beginning of the call if you are in Canada and where.

Applied yesterday at Service Canada for passport. Pretty simple. Person printed out a sheet with application number on it and it has a estimated postage date of December 21st, so about a month. With Christmas and stuff she said it might not actually arrive until the week between Christmas and...

They're hiring people to process applications. Unfortunately the skillset required is the length of your arm and only pays 65-70k which is pretty much "ok" Canadian wage lol.

Took the oath/ceremony today on zoom (lol) so I guess you can mark me as completed.

Been scheduled for a ceremony on November 17th. Says to "follow the instructions" sent to me but I haven't received any lol. Guess I'll get an email at some point. Anyone know if it's online or in person or what?

You can sometimes infer the office from the format of the "from" address in any emails you receive.
