hey Alurra71.......the reciept that you got from the doctors will be your proof of the medical.....so when you send the forms....do send the reciept as a proof along with it.....thats how i did it too.....not to worry.....all d best :)

SARAKHANS- so u mean we get 2 uci numbers????? but i just got 1 with my information on it.....even the correspondence is on my name too...my husband who is the sponsor never got any mail or a client id of his own??? is it normal???

my case was applied on march 12th.......had called cic and they told me my aip was approved october 1st but so far hadnt got anything in written from them......but to my surprise i got the AIP letter confirmation in d mail today.....so so happy....am always excited about checking mail hoping it...

Thanks wolanila and sarakhans for the help.....i just had a word with call centre people....they told me they would still take 4 to 5 days to email me the confirmation of the aip.... so am just waiting and waiting untill that before i can apply work permit.....i guess this is a real test for...

HI ...I NEED HELP REGARDING THE WORK PERMIT....MY ECAS SAYS THAT MY PERMANENT RESIDENCY IS IN PROCESS....BUT I HAVENT RECIEVED IN WRITING THAT I HAVE THE AIP.....I WANT TO APPLY FOR WORK PERMIT NOW....SO CAN U PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I WILL GET THE PERMIT ALONG WITH THE AIP OR WILL I NEED TO APPLY...

My latest update- application recieved -march 12 2012 stated processing - 1st october 2012 medical results have been recieved hoping for AIP any day now..... will we get work permit along with it ?
