I got landing papers today and did landing already. They received my photos on Dec 2, Decision made on Dec 6, CPR issued Dec 2, received landing papers on Dec 11, did landing on Dec 11. I did not have to send the passport (visa-exempt), so it took only 9 days (more that 2.5 years all together)...

I am from visa exempt country, I got request for photos on Dec 2, they received it Dec 3, Decision made status Dec 5 or 6, hoping to get landing papers this week.

It is a long story, CIC did a mistake in the document list that they requested. Also I am from visa exempt country, so I don't need to send the passport.

In this case you know that they have your updated docs and medical exam results, so the best you can do is to not disturb them. Your file probably is lined up for another review/decision.

Sure, go ahead. I received response from CIC on my inquiry only once, so don't expect them to answer your email right away or at all. But the fact that you received your 'automated email' is a good sign, email was delivered.
