    I had applied for a TRV months after I submitted my PR application. They gave me a multiple entry visa valid for 10 years. I was fortunate in that case. 1 positive in my favor would have been that I had traveled to canada the previous year.

    You don't have to submit PCC from every foreign country you have visited before. You have to submit it only for foreign countries that you have lived in for more than 6 months.

    I don't know how it works with your medical centre. But for me they themselves sent the medical report to NDVO. If that's the case maybe you could ask them to resend the docs and only pay for the resending or ask them to re-hand you your April report's copy to be re-sent to NDVO. Alternatively...

    Went into 'in process' in September. Asked for remedical & PCC from another country that I was residing in, in late November. Asked for passport copy in March. Note that my case was slightly complicated because of all these expiries + living outside India until recently.
