Thank you for the advice. The problem is that we may have to leave Canada ahead of moving to go to the UK to arrange a residence so it may be cause a problem with her trying to get back into Canada as I understand that is an issue.

Quite right. I just now see "Does not authorize re-entry" written at the bottom of the OWP. I wonder, can I apply for another visitor visa as a work around or is that not possible?
