ok this is the end of the PR story for me, everyone got his card (kids were delayed because of pics). so let's see for citizenship as things are changing fast ... i guess we will need to re-apply for PR ! really good to have this things done wishing plenty of courage to the rest of you !!!

same situation than you Bahar, they did not ask pic to me. For me and wife they used the pic we have sent 3 years ago and sent us the PR card. For kids, obviously pic were too old ... and i have to send recent one again, still waiting PR card for kids now. rules/dimensions for the pic are in...

jeeeeez i was thinking to be at the end of the trip, i have received my PR card for me and wife (it took 2 months) but they finally said pic for kids are not correct ... have to send it again !

Just to update you guys, because i know i was tracking any kind of information when i was waiting for my PR. I just did my landing in Niagara this Sunday morning, everything went well ( i gave details in the "transfer to mexico" thread) So almost 3 years of waiting time and we are finally PR...

exactly 1 week now my passport is in Mexico, i cannot start whining as they asked for 1 to 2 weeks. Hopefully they are not re-assigned to the visa backlog process.

DHL AOR is showing it being received end of July (last week of July) - so it was in Mexico office last week of July

1) i did the medical first week of July 2) the e case is still showing in process - Medical recevied

the letter mentioned that if you go in person, you have to go to the immigration counter Monday to Thursday 8/10.30 am, and you pick it up at 3 pm, after 10.30 they will return it the following day so you need to pay hotel on the top of that

all passports have to go to Mexico ... not really comfortable with this ... but it's the price to pay. According the letter 1 to 2 weeks to issue the Visa.
