    Expired PR Card and Travelling

Hi! Apologies for the crosspost, I wasn't sure if this belonged here, but seeing as he got PR through family class I figured this might be a good spot to post as well... My husband's PR card expired in April, without him realizing until today when he went to do his citizenship test. He passed...

    Travelling with Expired PR Card

Hi! My husband's PR card expired in April, without him realizing until today when he went to do his citizenship test. He passed, but won't find out about his ceremony for a few months, at least. Unfortunately, we plan on doing two trips away - to the USA in August, and to Barbados and the USA...

My wife(sponsor) wants divorce me a month after I landed

Yeah gee those countries are exactly the same as Canada and not known at all for having a very low cost of living compared to western countries, I'm sure you can extrapolate the very experiences you had to the realistic opportunities for young people in Canada at the moment.

My wife(sponsor) wants divorce me a month after I landed

As a young person who GREW UP in Canada, it's almost impossible for youth to find a job these days. I'm lucky that I have one, but most of my friends are either unemployed or in dead-end jobs despite having university degrees, I can't imagine how much more difficult it would be for young new...

Unable to get married and unable to be/prove common-law

Yeah, I spent two weeks in Iceland, and it isn't AS expensive as people make it out to be. If you go out to eat, go on a ton of excursions, shopping that sort of thing it will be expensive, but canuck_in_uk has given you some excellent advice. And it truly is a beautiful country, definitely...

Thanks, it's definitely a relief! We didn't want to have to fly back to Australia, and I know interviews are normally waived there, but there's an age difference between us so we weren't certain.

Ok, cool. That's a bit annoying for us, since my passport expired like three days ago and I haven't gotten it renewed yet. Oh well, hopefully it'll be fine!
