It's strange as the PPR states Do not travel to Canada due to Covid and the visa is through the end of January.

We have just got a request for Passport, don't know what is the visa expiration date. Is yours the medical anniversary?

Yes PPR came over email, and DM2 in Ecas same day, but nothing changed in the online application portal - same old processing language: we review your eligibility, we process your background check, etc.

They were superfast to respond compared to the past, this is their response. Interesting how long it takes to complete this review: "Please be advised that this file has been preliminarily assessed and is currently in the queue for the secondary review."

@Roya-FSW considering it takes 2-3 weeks for Ankara to respond, I have enquired about my mom's application right now. Have you checked with them too?

Our background check shows in Progress. Not sure how much it's trustworthy considering it showed in Progress even before my Sponsorship was approved and the case was in Mississauga.

Hi @Roya-FSW no, I haven't contacted Ankara since June. Since they sent me Pre-Arrival letter and most in Ankara (according to tracker) received Passport request within 60 days after the pre-arrival letter, I decided to give time until the end of November.

@Verooney @Roya-FSW we also got the pre-arrival letter today. Hope Ankara starts moving again.

The call centre will not be able to help you after the application is in VO, so better don't waste time trying to get through.

Same here, I called them to figure out where the application was transferred to.

They asked for Medicals in January. BTW, they asked it twice, on Jan 19 and Jan 20. We did one of two requests. Now, they are asking it the third time without attaching medical form.
