ok, here is an addition to my previous question. If one have an OWP, are they still required to extend their visitor visa?

Does one have to continue extending visitor visa after AIP?

My aip was september 23. I guess we have to wait it out 2 more weeks... hopefully second stage will be approved by then too. I do not know why but i feel more tense waiting for the second stage than i felt when i was waiting on the first stage..... if you have any neew news on the owp let me...

I got AIP by email, its been a month now and I have not recevived any mail. The email said that my OWP was approved but did not receive it either. Is this normal for the OWP mail to take so long after AIP and OWP approval?

Allura, you have to mail a copy of the receipt from the doctor with your application. Thats all!

According to the chart, there is alot of January applicant yet to receive aip... whats going on? arent cic making their assessment in order?

Normally appliants receive an email acknowledging receipt of the application about 3 to 4 months after sending the application (not everyone does). You may receive one in the next month and a half or so,but if you don't its not something to worry about. It is recommended that you send the work...
