s87.4 is the newly passed law which affects to pending FSW cases. I was also under background check and my case is affected now as per CAIPS. What is your visa office and which country you live currently. My advice is you to check ur CAIPS.

You can exactly know your status from your CAIPS. Apply for CAIPS, it will take 1 - 1.5 months time. I applied to Colombo VO in Dec 2007, did Meds in Jan 2012 and still my case is terminated as per CAIPS. I joined to litigation in Jan 2013. Please disclose your VO, then an assumption could be made

After submission of collective petition (5 FSW PRE FEB 2008 applicants) to CHC, Colombo on 8th Nov again a reminder was given on 10th Dec as there was no response from CHC. I think this particular group members have to seek legal assistance to deal with CHC.
