Do you have an extensive travel history ? I am asking that because I have an extensive travel history to the US during the last 2 years that could be the reason for security clearance delay in my case . Just guessing .....

Hello guys , Can someone tell me how is CIC sending the test invite or FP request ? Is it by regular mail only or are they updating Ecas as well ? My application is in process and I haven't received any emails or snail mails for any of the status . My app is in process since Dec 1st .

I had the same thing , old mailing address from my PR application . I had changed it online but it has not yet reflected on ecas . Also , I have not received any email from CIC and I am thinking that they have my wrong email address as well , coz that was what had delayed my PR application back...

Cic sent me the copy of the receipt for the one and only transaction I did . I wasn't expecting a reaponse so soon. I can apply today .

Agreed!!!! Waiting a few more days is not going to make much of a difference ..atleast I don't want the stress of paying them multiple times and then stressing out on how to get a refund ...I am going to wait and see how my CC is charged and act accordingly ....there system should be getting...

Cc is charged with no receipt first time. What is the guarantee of transaction being successful if I try again...server is still so slow . I have emailed cic and will wait if they can send me the receipt , also if my cc transaction is posted in few days then I can be sure that payment went...
