Hi, I had my citizenship oath ceremony today.I have one question. The officer said something about writing the initials of her name somewhere ( either in the Oath form or may be in the subject of the email). Can someone tell me where do I need to provide these initials please?

Just to share with everyone. My neighbor applied in Feb, 2021 and in just 5 months he got his test invite (July 19). No Justice :)

Feb applicant here as well. Application recieved on Feb 28. No test invite. Happy for the people who are getting movement on their applications.

Hello All, I have been reading this forums silently since I applied for my Canadian citizenship in June last year. I took the test at the Scarborough center on Feb 10 and received the letter for oath today. The letter is dated Feb 12. Will be taking oath in couple of weeks. Good to all.

Well, even though it only applies to people that will be sending application for now on, it is said.. i didn't mind if they make it conditional 2 year; it already happens for american green card too but whats sad is they are making the 2 year rule but doing nothing about the processing time...

Yes this seems to be the general consensus but when I was talking to the CIC agent he told me that Ottawa told them that it will take them approximately 1 year to process a application but in June CIC closed the buffalo office and all the files have been transfers to Ottawa; so agent don't know...

I take it the MP here is member of parliament, the reason i ask this is because some MP office tell you to only contact them when the case is over the processing time line mentioned on CIC website. kindly confirm
