hi livvo25, copy of criminal record is not acceptable but u can request personal information held by NZ police. I my case CHC kept me on hold for 1 year for not getting police verification from sydney office. I request personal record from NZ police & submit to CHC , it works.

don't worry abt anything, just submit all document & fee for the fresh passport. after submiting contact passport officer & tell ur story why u need urgent. hi i also face this problem. just apply for fresh passport, check the process by calling passport office. dont listen to ur consultant, may be he expecting money in return.
