Compared with British Council, IDP is not so professional. British Council will always maintain their standards. You feel like you are appearing a exam which is conducted by professional body. IDP lags this. Though the test standards remain same. the way they conduct exam matters the most.

It will be a risky choice. In your self declaration, you have to give your manager contact details like official E- mail ID, contact numbers to reach etc. You may need to give reason why you are not able to get the ref. letters from your previous employers. Good luck
