it's 60 days from the date the letter sent (not received); but also there is a visa validity date (1 year after medicals done) - so be sure you'll get the passport before visa expires

As you can see from my profile: Passport Req..: 17-06-2010 (rec'd 05-07-10) sent regular mail VISA ISSUED...: 13-07-2010 (rec'd 16-07-10) via prepaid Fedex But in New Delphi it might be different....

Just to finish this thread - we got the visa on Friday and yesterday on Saturday we landed at Peace Bridge Fort Erie. So we managed to avoid going to US with no problems. Also got SIN as well at Service Canada at Lawrence mall which is opened on Saturdays. Thanks to everyone for support and...

Thanks!!!! So we just landed at Peace Brdge !!! It was easy- peasy :D so just made a u-turn and didn't even had to drive to the US! officers very friendly and nice :) So happy and relieved now :) Good luck you guys who's still waiting!

I didn't want actually to disclose the details of our e-mail conversation. So I just sorted my emails (in yahoo) from MY HUSBAND, and the same thing from ME sent to husband's e-mail, used print screen and copied to Word. So there were several paged dated from 2008 till now.

WE GOT IT!!!

Our passport was requested on June 17, we received this letter only on July 5. The same date we sent the passport via Fedex, so it was in warsaw on July 7. Visa issued on July 13, and was Fedexed back on 13th. Today we got VISA!!!!! :D p.s. E-cas still show in process.....................

that's so frustrating.... :o I already told in the different topic how DHL made me drive 1.5h to find out that don't offer prepaid envelopes (however on the phone they say they DO - twice!! and two different person!) So yes, I also used Fedex - included return airbill and put my account number...
