Hello, I've got my job offer letter, passport and college diploma, here in Toronto. I'm going to the Niagara Falls border crossing tomorrow to take care of the Nafta work visa, and I was wondering if anybody could tell me what to expect. I've heard there are several bridges to get to a border...

    visa type for U.S. business

Not sure if this exists, but I suspect some form of it does: I am a U.S. citizen working for a U.S. Company. If they wanted me to open an office in Toronto, what sort of visa do I need to do so? It's a design firm, if that has any relevance to the question. Thanks!

    timeline for medical

I'm just trying to get a general idea of timelines. If I understand correctly, from the point I get a job, I then do a medical exam that is sent to Ottawa, before I can go to the border for my NAFTA work permit. How long does it take for that medical exam to be approved, from the point I leave...

ok.. just to make sure I understand: I can go apply for my visa, and they'll give me one valid for one year - regardless of the two year contract. After that, I can apply for a new passport. Then go back and reapply to get a work permit valid for longer.

    passport expiry and work visa

Hello, I have a specific question about the passport application process. If I suddenly get a job offer for a 2 years contract... But my current passport is only good for 1 year. Can I get the NAFTA work visa, still - and renew my passport after. Or will I get turned down if my passport isn't...

    NAFTA paperwork question

I am a U.S. citizen. I may have a job offer very soon, but I've lost my original college diploma. I've requested a new copy, but it may take several weeks. When I go to the border with my job offer and other necessary paperwork, is a letter from the College confirming that I've graduated with a...
