    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

That's right! I got that same e-mail last year and a couple of months later I received my CSQ without interview. Be patient, Newjwel! I received their "attente de decision" on April 30th and then my CSQ was approved on July 15th. Yay!

That's truly unfair, indeed! But don't lose hope. Have you calculated your points? Are you applying alone or with spouse/common-law partner?

    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Hi engineer, As far as I'm concerned, it takes 49 points to be eligible for interview and 55 points (or more) to get the CSQ without interview. BIQ Mexico didn't send me the results of my evaluation, but I think I got 56 points. This is how I calculated them (remember, I got my CSQ last year...

    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Hi, mkshah I know what it feels. I sent my application in December 2011 and after several months (October 2013) I received a letter like yours. I sent my DELF B2 along with other requested documents 60 days later. But, believe it or not, my career got ZERO points according to their AOT and I...

Mexico's timeframe is 16 months for the QSW federal application (!!!), but I really don't know anyone there whose application has taken so long. Let's hope we get our medical requests soon :)

Quebec-based PR Application Timeline through CSQ-PEQ

This tracker is a great idea. Thanks! Could you share it at the "Quebec applicants let's share experiences" thread? I tried to do it but for some reason I'm not allowed to share links here.

    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

I'm glad it was a mistake! :D My application is being processed at Mexico's visa office, where the time frame is about 45-50 days after receiving the AOR. So I guess it depends on which visa office processes your application. Well, there's QSW Federal tracker that may be useful, but for some...

About medicals - What happens If I do them as a tourist in another country?

Hi PMM, Thanks for your reply! I was worried because in another forum I read about other people (3 or 4 Venezuelans) who went for their medical exams in Canada or USA and now they're facing a big delay on their passport request (+8 months after medicals). That ugly coincidence freaked me out...

About medicals - What happens If I do them as a tourist in another country?

Hi, everyone: I'm applying through the Québec-selected SWP and I've just received my AOR this week. My application is now being processed by Mexico's visa office. However, I wonder what happens if I receive the request for medicals and I decide to carry them out outside of my country of...

Social Workers 4152, Applied already/going to apply!

Hi, I'm a newbie here... Is there any post of applicants from other social sciences fields? (anthropology, sociology...?) I'm a journalist with a master's degree in anthropology... I've submitted a QSW application but I still wonder if it's recommendable to obtain another academical degree (such...
