Hi All, I hope this is not a stupid question. I am going to apply the Canadian passport. It requires us to submit "•any valid Canadian travel document issued in your name". I am not sure what the valid Canadian travel document means. Are they PR card, Landing paper, and Canadian visa we used...

I am not sure. My ecas has not shown that my file is transferred to local office yet. I basically got nothing after Oct. 2014.

My timeline. Local office should be Edmonton. Received: Aug 13, 2014 Email-AOR: Oct 15, 2014 eCas: Oct 15, 2014 Book and AOR in mail: Nov 18, 2014 In process: Oct 11, 2014 Rcvd line disappeared: Oct 24, 2014

I think they just want to know how much you bond to Canada. It is not about the traveling to anywhere. I did travel a lot to US (at least twice per year) and other countries (at least spent two months in one country). I have the same job since I moved to Canada and always live in the same city...

Got the book and letter today.

I went to states a lot in the past 5 years. Basically 3 times per year. I was in my home country for 2 months in 2011. I got E cas, in progress on October 11. Travelling to states should not be the problem.

It is normal that you have not received your AOR and book. Most people haven't yet. Only one in August received.

Thanks. The google doc was Oct 15, so I got a bit confused. Thanks for sharing your timeline. Let's hope we can get something soon. It seems nothing is really moving for Edmonton office although we got the received line gone quickly.

Thanks Fort Mc. Do you mean you received AOR and book on Monday and the received line disappeared later? We have very similar timeline and applied from the same location. Your timeline is very helpful for me.
