Somewhat similar issue my folks legally separated sponsoring my mom. My dad is already a Canadian living in Canada would he need to be added to application? And would he need to do medical and background?

Thanks for the replying. I wouldn't need to sponsor both can't even if I wanted to because he is Canadian so that's rules it out really and income is well above average to sponsor 2. So don't really know why IRCC would even ask when they can clearly check to see that he's Canadian and what I get...
