We sent via FedEx. It was about $75 each direction. Had a small delay in the delivery due to holdup at the customs border, but it arrived today. Our letter didn't mention the option to scan the passport pages- they specifically asked for the passport with return paid courier envelope- not sure...

Our ECAS was updated to "In process" today yesterday. It says they started processing it Dec 7. The funny thing is my wife arrives in Canada today on a tourist visa, but they might request her passport much sooner than we originally anticipated. No such as thing as too fast in this process though!

We were successful getting a TRV for my wife while the PR application is in process. We wrote a cover letter explaining the situation, had bank statements showing assets in her country, had a letter from her work verifying she was taking a leave to come to Canada as a tourist. We also had return...

I'm glade the Warsaw officers were in a good mood when our application hit their desk! It will make waiting for...

Hi Everyone. We made an outland application for me (born in Canada) to sponsor my wife (Belarusian) through the Warsaw office. Sent in the application Sept 6, 2012. I got the letter saying I was approved as a sponsor Oct 17, 2012. If I check the online status of the application, it says only...

    Notary problem

Did the original poster ever solve this problem? My wife has encountered a similar problem with her labour record. The company where she worked for her first entry made a mistake on her work dates, then corrected it without including an official stamp. The rest of her workbook is fine, but the...
