I have heard you can get these forms at the DMP. Is that okay or do you need the exact form the CIC sends?

My ielts test score is enough to apply for immigration through CEC?

Once you have taken a language test from a designated testing agency, you can determine if you meet the language requirements for CEC. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609E2.asp If you scroll down to Using your test results shows a chart for what NOC Code and what...

    Worried about Application Being Recived

Anyone? Still wondering if I am allowed to get my medicals done ahead of receiving the request from CIC? On other forums (track it) people have been saying you can just take the application file number you get on your AOR form and have the doctor use it. But here I saw someone else was told...

how can i possibly get a 1 year of skilled experience?

You need to check out the NOC code associated with your job. Depends on the title but also depends on your main duties. http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/noc/index.shtml You can use any year of skilled work for the CEC, does not need to have anything to do with your field of study.

how can i possibly get a 1 year of skilled experience?

Well for me I found it really tough because when I graduated I was only allowed to work in the field I graduated in and I was limited in which cities I could work in. Since then CIC has changed these rules and you now can get an open work permit for three years. Which I assume you have? Go out...

    Implied Status

I've put in my application for the Canadian Experience Class and I heard this weekend from some friends that once your application is in then you have "implied status" until you are rejected/accepted. Is this true? And for working as well? Or just visiting? My understanding was that if your...

    Worried about Application Being Recived

I sent my application in on the 15th of January. I just got the letter from Buffalo March 8th - it was stamped Feb 24th. Do you know if we can go ahead with our medicals ahead of the request or if they are tough appointments to book on short notice?

    another question about police checks

I think you need to look at where the main address was? Was the majority of the 8 months spent in Russia? Was that her mailing address for at least 6 months? Was she registered with a local office? Was there a visa attached to the time in Russia that states 6 months +? Best bet is to go for...

    Worried about Application Being Recived

I'm worried that people who applied after me already have their AOR. I need my application processed ahead of July 25th to keep my current job. And I know it will be tight so I want to make sure no balls are dropped and I follow through on everything needed. When do I need to start inquiring if...

    Police Check from Germany

Go to your bank and ask for their options. They have two one is quicker and costs more one is slower and costs less. Depends what your time constraints look like. Never do anything via Canada Post they are so dumb. I had them do a cashiers check in Euros for me. Make sure its written out to...

    Police Check from Germany

Yea mine only cost 13 Euros. It finally came at the end of December. Got it translated at the consulate for 20 Euros. The German Bundestamt said my police check was most likely lost since it took so long to get it back from Germany. Just an FYI - it apparently can take 3 months.

    Police Check from Germany

Okay I sent it off on October 16th I think. And now I sit and wait? I'm getting super anxious about getting this document in like summer 2009. The rest of my package is ready to go and my time in Canada is running out. Is there anyone who has applied for one from Germany and can clue me in on...

    Employment Letter for CEC

I think it would be the safest to get your supervisor to do this as this is what is asked for in the application. Remind them that you are doing them a favor coming to work in canada and this is all a pain in the ass. :-) Or maybe think that and ask nicely.

Canadian Experience Class - Education Route

Okay that what I thought but why does it not state that in the document list? Anyways if I'm only using my current job for the NOC and nothing else counts I can just go ahead with submitting information on that one job? Also. I ripped out my Canadian study permit at the direction of a...

leaving or staying in canada once application is in

Thank you so much for your response. A weight has been lifted. I had heard from a number of people over the past few years that you need to remain in Canada once an application has been submitted or you jeopardize the result. It made no sense to me and I appreciate your clarification.
