I have some news too! Now I have to figure out where to get the RCMP certificate from, walked to a local police station in Toronto and they said they don't do that. But still super excited for the next step!

Congratulations! I returned to Canada as a visitor after we received the AOR. We had printed out our entire application and the AOR email but in the end they didn't ask to see anything since it was all in their system already. So I don't think it matters really.

Yep, three months. We're not planning on sending more stuff unless they ask for it.

Just received the Sponsorship approved letter. As some of you might recall, we used two old forms, both of which were updated 07-2012, but seems like they accepted them anyway!

This was at Pearson's. They actually seemed a bit apologetic that the best they could do was 6 months but I'll renew it if my PR hasn't come through by that time. Best of luck to you Ryathe!

Okay, I thought I'd share my experience re-entering Canada today. I was flying back from Europe with my husband and they almost didn't even ask any questions. Just checked my status on the computer (AOR) and gave me a six month visitors record. It was so easy, time to stress over other things...

Hi, we're also going through Warsaw, woke up to an AOR today. I thought Warsaw didn't do many interviews and hoped to skip that part, was I wrong?

It came from Mississauga and the email address was Client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca if that helps, might want to add it to your safe list!

The application times have been updated finally and they stayed the same (which is good in my opinion since 66 is a pretty low number): 66 days Working on applications received on June 28, 2012

So sorry to hear that. Super frustrating! This whole process makes me wonder how much marriage fraud is there anyway? Is there really a need for such a strict process?
