how long has it been since the aor, or the last correspondence you have had with them ? for us it was only a couple weeks from when we sent in our last documents to get the arc request, but that was also when there was no strike :-\

it says they sent it august 7, so October 7 would be 60 days that is the usual time frame to hand in documents. they send the letter by email not mail. so it should have showed up the same day. ours for the arc was also a 60 day time frame. this is how I figured it out using our notes anyways...

if you already sent in the pólice checks and u dont need the arc, than yeah i agree, it should be ppr after they receive the medical results it took them about 2 to 3 weeks to receive ours when my husband had to redo his medical, in mexico city.

it means u need to pay the arc fee and send in the letter and any other documents requested before october 7, if they dont hear from you by tan they may continue processing and could result in a refusal. its important you contact them right away to have them resend the letter :) we had due...

for us my husband did his redo medical in august 2012 and didn't get his ppr until may 2013. but we also had to send in his pgr, rcmp clearance, the arc and supporting documents for his 2009 case afterwards. The medical redo was the first thing we did in our process

You should email them, tell them you received your notes and it says on them the request letter was sent but you never received it and ask them to send it again. we had our aor sent to us apparently and never received it either, until we emailed them and asked about it

It depends where you come from and how you feel about the change, I know for my family and my husband it was worth it to bring him to Canada, and he would do the long, difficult process over again if he had to, just to have our life in Canada. But for others maybe it isn't worth it. Everyone...

I agree, it never mentions anything about the families who are stuck apart because of the strike! its frustrating, I agree. I think the families are getting hit a lot harder than the poor rich students who cant come to Canada and "study" / party . :-\

They will send everything through email except the PGR request letter, and the passport with visa in it, if you mail it to them at the end instead of going in person to get it stamped :)

I think you should send it next week. Give them about a week to receive the file. :)
