hi accounts, thanx for ur reply. i am aware of the fact that its very common to b asked for a new police certificate but i was wondering about the applications forms that i had to refill. dont u think it's weird??? Please if anyone went through this, share ur experience. By the way the office...

hi everyone, i had my CSQ in march 08 and have applied for the fed in june 08. I've been contacted by the embassy twice in january 2010, first time to get an updated police certficate, and then to filll all the forms for permanent residency again... i did all of this and im still waiting...

hi tonychrbl, well the time is really up to them, i mean forget about what is said on the site but it's definitely not 4 months; It's something between 12 months and god knows how long..... I hope u'll b lucky to hear from them in march or april. Wishing u the best of luck

hey staroffuture, well i'm fluent in french and that makes me qualified for living in Quebec.it rises my chances to get selected by quebec and this is what really happened but it's the federal that's taking a lonnnnnnnng time... c ya!

Hey startoffuture yes i do live in dam and im a syrian national but i ve applied as a QSW so my case is different. it usually takes 2 to 3 months to have ur status changed so b patient. Good luck
