Hey Zainy congrats! Just got the msg to submit my pp :D finally!!! One quick Q Zainy if you could pls let me know.....I applied for my wife's and my joint multiple entry TRV. Did you use VAC services for pp delivery or did you just send your pp to NYC office with a prepaid USPS envelope...

There is a strike going on, you can check the CIC site under processing times! I submitted my TRV online on 19th July, no news till date!

I applied on 19th July (from US) but no news till date. Will post if I do get any notification from them!

We submitted our application online for TRV on the 19th of July. No news till date and then we found out that there is a strike going on...if you go to the CIC website, click on the processing times tab.....

My Mom traveled on her SV with a one way tkt. No Q's asked abt her return tkt @ POE.

My Mom got one yr stamped at the POE.

I don't think the SV's validity is more than the PP's expiry date. CIC is very clear on this.

Hi all, Could someone pls let me know what documents their parent/s (who are on PG 1 supervisa) had to show (or took along with them) @ POE? I was thinking a copy of the one year med ins contract should be kept handy! Thanks in advance!

@bettafish - You have to submit your original passport with the docs + receipts you receive from the doctors office to VFS. VFS will then send them to the High Commission on your behalf. All the best!
