    We were not required to mail my husband's US passport. They just wanted a copy by mail or emailed scan to be sent to CPP-O...which was awesome and quick!

    Yay OTTAWA! My home town BTW ;) Got the passport request and interview waived today, 6 months, 3 days after they received our application. Stage 2 was supposedly in LA, but I doubt it since the PPR came from CPP-O. They are doing something right 8) Best wishes to those who are waiting :)

    6 months and 3 days after they received our application, we just got the passport request! Interview waived. We sent our application to CPP-O, it was supposedly sent to LA for stage 2, but the passport copies are supposed to go to CPP-O. I'm impressed with how fast this has gone so far - much...

    I think most applicants pay the fee at the time of application. I suggest you pay ASAP to avoid delays.

    6 months 3 days after CPP-O receiving our application, we just got a passport request and notification of waived interview! :o ;D Although our file was supposedly transferred to LA, we are supposed to send the passport copies to CPP-O. We can send scans of both of our passports (and my birth...

    Thanks very much OhCanadiana! My husband is very frustrated with this whole situation where we have income, collateral, good credit ratings, etc...yet this is turning out to be so complicated to resolve.
