area of training list - confusing info & general opinion on my case

avricardo, If a Quebec diploma is NOT ticked in the AOT list giving 6 points, it most likely means that it will earn 12 or 16 points!! Please go to the link <http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/fr/divers/domaines-12-16.pdf> and verify if it is true for the "Diploma in Law"...

Hi kumarpk, I agree with kuro_shio's response. Unfortunately, you will have to wait until you meet interview threshold of 57 points. Otherwise, they may return the application. By the way, when did you appear for DELF A1? I and my wife appeared on May 07, 2012 and we are patiently waiting for...

@ nn234, I am not an expert, but I will be more than happy to share whatever information I have. I think, it takes 1.5 to 2 months on an average to receive AOR. Please refer to the following QSW tracker for timelines created by one of the forum members: http://bit.ly/qswtracker Thanks!

Hi kumarpk, Do you have knowledge of French? If not, why don't you first sign up for basic French course at the nearest Alliance Francaise? If you and your spouse pass DELF A1, then you will earn 4 more points. At that point, submit your application and continue learning French for at least...

Hello quantsegu, In my humble opinion, there is no value addition if you apply through a consultant. In fact, I find it more comforting when I am in control of the process. Please see the following text taken from CIC website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/representative/index.asp...

Quebec Immigration - Skilled Worker Program

Hello, This is the response I received from BIQ, Hong Kong in mid-May 2012: Si vous aimerez obtenir des points pour vos compétences linguistiques en français, vous devez nous faire parvenir les résultats de DELF en original lors de dépôt votre demande de CSQ. If you wish to obtain points for...

nn234, Many of us are in this situation. Unfortunately, only the original DELF diploma is accepted, so Attestation of Reussite will not be accepted to get points awarded for French. Why don't you write an email to BIQ to get this re-confirmed? Best of luck!

I also had similar problem initially. As mdammalli said, this can be done only after certain number of posts. Maybe 20-25 posts, so keep posting and in no time you will be there... ;D
