thanks jsa ... I was very anxious and nervous to send my passports via courier and provide a return address in canada .. rather it's a safe bet to travel on my own to buffallo for stamping .. though it costs me dearly :D

thanks all for the response .. I am even considering to travel on my own to US. I have a valid US visitor visa (got te VISA when I was in Canada). Can I travel now from India to US for VISA stamping .. will there be any issues at the port of entry?

Thanks for the reply PMM .. carrying by hand may be not feasible .. not sure if I can secure a VISA to US in this short period .. can I courier the passports to someone in US and provided them with authorization so that they can have it stamped and return the passports back..
