Has anyone of you ordered CBSA report? While ordering CBSA report, I have two options, use "privacy act" or "access to information"; which one should I choose for citizenship application? Would both give me the same report?

Same thing here. Mine also changed to Montreal after few days. I don't see why we should worry as they are both in Montreal :)

Oh, so sorry to hear you need to fill up forms and prepare more documents. Were you informed through email or regular mail? I remember everyone was saying that if you provide the RQ in a timely fashion, the processing time does not get lengthened a lot.

asagalen, I don't know what the format of other application numbers are; but from the comments on this page and others, I realized the C000 is the new format.

I saw a post in July's page about E-CAS, so I tried it myself; my ECAS is activated, even though my application number was one of those C000's. Though it doesn't say much, it says enough to make me feel there is some progress after all. There is only one item; "In-Process". When I click on it...

Your AOR date seems off. Btw to be able to change your profile, I think you should have at least 10 forum posts, then you membership promotes and lets you change your profile.

Hey parientdog - fyi, the telephone says the applications before 25 of July are opened. So, it's still normal. The fact that they haven't returned your app so far is an indication that nothing crucial is missing from your app, which is great!

Firstly, Congrats!! There are definitely two different paths from the beginning of the process. My application was also received on August 11, but I received an email with my application number. Out of curiosity, if you don't mind, can you tell us if your application number starts with C0 ?

Just received the usual email (this confirms we received you app etc) The application number starts with C000... No ecas. My app was received on 11 Aug. Hope thw rest of us get the aor asap. Have a nice weekend...

Congrats and happy birthday alexdive! west2east, you should not worry. There are July applicants that still haven't received AOR. July 25 is the official date; any application received more recent is a bonus, nothing to make you worried.

Cheer up, I saw some july applicant recived email yesterday. They are officialy opening july 25 applications.

Mine was received August 11. The automated message says the are opening applications of July 22. It was saying the same thing last week. Sounds like that automated message doesn't get updated very frequently. Still not worried and interpreting no news as good news :)

It's up now, but nothing is up for my application. I tried client ID with/without the hyphen in the middle.

I would not lose hope too quickly - not saying you lost hope; just saying let's cheer up. They are officially opening applications from July 22. I.e., any more recent application opened is a bonus. In long run, even a month of delay to get an initial update does not mean a month of delay in...

fyi client ID is the 8-digit number on the PR Card (front): xxxx-xxxx So if you have the PR number, you probably have client ID too. I'm losing my patience here - but that's just too early for that :)
