Ottawa is picking up the pace with COPR's. I got mine today, and it was sent out yesterday. It came in a medium size envelope. And BTW, my status on c-EAS is still "In process"

Wow thats interesting. I hope then, to see a batch of copr's sent out soon. I have some time before mine arrives, but how long should I wait before inquiring? Im not in a huge rush as I live in Ottawa already with my husband and our baby, but it would be nice to finally have my PR!

Oh, Im so sorry! Did you send the ppr back the same day as requested? I'm waiting for my copr too but I just sent mine a week ago. I keep hearing the Ottawa office takes longer but just how long? I hope they get caught up soon.

Thanks! Im not sure when it was transferred, but Im assuming it was Aug 24, 2012, which is when the AOR came in. A few others in the May thread are reporting getting their PPRs also, so its moving along faster than 12 months it seems! Hope you get yours soon!

Im an American applying through Ottawa, and I sent my application in mid-May. I got my ppr yesterday. I freaked out when I saw the 12 month processing time too, but it seems to be moving a bit faster than it shows. Hang in there.

Just checking in to update. Got an email requesting copies of my passport. Hope the rest of the process is easy!

My husband was sent the email approval today also. It was rec'd on May 18.

At the border, I also tell them I CANT move or stay for an extended period of time because my mother in the USA can't be left alone for long, and goes crazy without me and her grandson being away too long. So talking affectionately about your mother seems to help me out :)

Wow the long wait is so boring! LOL. Luckily, Im able to stay in Canada with my husband and son, but waiting till paperwork comes in feels like a drag. Been killing time watching Euro 2012. I must really be bored since we Americans usually hate soccer! LOL

Even if she posts her letter, some people will still say "it was photoshopped" or something like that. Sometimes theres no pleasing people on the internet, unfortunately.

I do realize that I cant trust what the website says, but Im happy to see the number isn't moving UP!
