Hi guys, I think I got the visa request today since CIC sent me an email titled "Ready For Visa - Prêt Pour Visa". They ask me to mail our passports to their office :) It is really fast since I just did my medical exam last month!

I haven't taken my ME yet. Will do it next week. I accidentally disabled the online system, and now I can't check the online status anymore :-( I guess I will ask my MP to give them a call to check if my ME is submitted.

How long does it take to have passport request after the medical exam? I checked the online tracker. Seems like the time varies from couples of weeks to half a year. You guys have any idea?

I don't know whether they accept it or not, since I have already got enough money in my Canadian bank account. Anyways, I think there is no harm to send a bank statement of foreign currency, as long as the money is in your name.
