u are lucky plus they are not busy anymore because of the 2 year Conditional Pr thing so its like less work for them/// and thats why cases are being processed quicker...

For us it took 14 months..it depends upon who is your immigration officer!!!!max time is 24 months and I have seen someone here who got in 4 months...so all depends upon your officer!!!!!!!

i dint get any email because my file was transferd before aip so just a decision!!!so u think around 2 weeks it takes to get the letter in your hand.. that will be good if that happens Thanks

well we have couple people here who are transferred in alberta, me myself and 2 other girls here are Edmonton and 2 more guys are Calgary...u are still lucky Edmonton wait times is 24 months....and Calgary is 12-18 months so u are far better off than us.....charmine was transferred to cic...

i think you should contact the call center rite away,,because it could be just first stage approval or a denial for pr...i have seen people before who just got denied like that.....so i would suggest that u call the call center and see what they say..

i think u shld contact your mp...your waiting time is way beyond any processing time...as u have aip already...charmine our case is different as we dnt have aip but these guys already do..its ridiculous.i really dnt knw what to say about cic anymore...people who applied in 2012 already have pr...

you think that is bad!!!we filed in march 2011 and transferred in April 2012....and guess what Edmonton waiting time is 24 months ....so we have to wait 24 months after transfer ...and no reason is provided...the only thing mp found out was they may need an interview,,,,,but wait 2 years after...

Did you apply for work permit with your application ?? And usually only people with aip get tht letter tht u got call the call center and ask them even sign on the cic website to check your status and see hrs going on there

Yes if you really want to do mandamus it can definitely help you and 2 be honest I have just met with a lawyer the other day and he said if your file is above processing times you have a right to do so!! Why dnt u contact a lawyer or tell me which part of the city u live in maybe I can refer u 2...
