hi sidestep, i checked the ielts website and the next available test date in my area is July 31.. Can i Still submit on July 1, 2012 with old result, then write an accompanying letter stating the situation and would be able to provide a new ielts result? what do you suggest I do?

I took my IELTS in 2010 and the certificate was dated July 29, 2010. I plan to submit this on July 1, 2012. VALID, right? Rule says not more than 2 years at the time of submission. Comments please and advice? Thanks
