So am I reading this letter correctly that says I DON'T need to send my passport, just copies of all the pages from it to the Visa office?

    Shipping Stuff before PR Granted

Anyone know if it's possible to ship household goods ahead of PR being granted? I'm faced with the possibility of having to move before I make the big move up and think it would be easier to move less 'stuff' later. My husband has a Secure Storage facility close by, I'm wondering how could I...

Yeah, at this point, everything is done and submitted. I think it's a wonderful idea to have them removed at this point. They've gotten their money - there's nothing else they can really do for us at this point except relay info. Thanks again for that, I'm getting the form now. ;)

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

In going through my file for the 2011th time, I've realized that my husband and I got 2 AOR's for my file - one in July 2011 and one in October 2011? Anyone care to hazard a guess on which date is marker for the (loose) processing timeline. Because I was definitely banking on the July 2011.

    Find available Jobs in Canada

Trying to figure out if I've missed something here, I'm correct in assuming that I'll be able to seek work as soon as PR is granted, right? While I'm down here in the US waiting for my PR to come thru, I'm trying to be proactive and I think to long lapses of time leave me to think too much and I...

    CIC + Exercise!

I just signed up for a 30-day fitness boot camp. I figured I'll distract myself one month at a time during this whole process while Buffalo gets their act and my file together. Just a tune up as I started to actually eat again after my wedding in October.

Yikes, was trying to respond, but it's telling me I'm not allowed to send personal messages! Is it because I'm new?

Yes, and last name starts with "C" and is a "leader" in the field. Yeah, definitely not getting warm and fuzzies and just opened an email that took 10 days for my case worker to respond to - in which she provides a non-answer to my initial inquiry (That I Googled a solution to days ago) and...

Mine has not been the most responsive either. Having serious buyers remorse with that. But these message boards are a god sent. Thank you everyone for all of the great info. I'd ask which lawyer you used but I'm afraid....if it's mine, i won't feel much better. "Clusterblank" doesn't even begin...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

Thank you everyone! My sisters-in-law gave me the name of their local MP for assistance. I will be reaching out to him shortly to seek his opinion. And I will order these GCMS notes to see what I can deduce. I check the CIC website weekly and every week like clock work "In Process"...which...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

Any advice for someone whose file has been in LimboLand? New to the board, so hello everyone! Long story short, Canadian hubby and I had a quick wedding ceremony in Toronto in February 2011 and after much volleying and medical exams, our application was sent in July 2011. AOR was received...
