I hope you will receive visa soon. London LVO doesn't have backlog issue and this LVO can finalize files in 2 months. I don't understand why your file was transferred to Ottawa, which slow down the process. It could be a mistake made by the CIC officer in Mississauga. Ottawa-CPP is packed now.

London LVO processing time is much faster than Ottawa. I heard a similar case which was transferred to London LVO from Mississauga, her file was finalized in 3 months at London LVO.

I agree with Mockava. CIC count people, not the applications. 11000x2 will be huge number.

That's just guessing. By April 8th, Ottawa received 11665, which is more than 11k. Files transferred prior to March 1st are safe.

I guess Ottawa is trying to add files in the queue for the next year, so in this way it can reduce the workload for each LVO and reduce the backlog. I think Ottawa is over-estimate the number in the beginning, at the end they found it's an impossible task to finalize 15k, and CIC did not expect...

I believe the cases sent to Ottawa are packed. Not likely Ottawa Officers will complete the intial quota this year, so they reduced the number. You can do the math. By April 8, CPC-O reieved 11665 cases. The extra 665 is unlikely to be processed this year. To be safe, files transferred to...

When you compare the historical data, some LVO did process slight more or less than the quota. Usually more for each LVO, however no benefits for CIC officers to process more, since they are paid for annual salary, not hourly salary. No overtime will be paid if doing so.

The quota for Ottawa changed from 15000 to 11000. In this case, those files transferred to Ottawa after March 15th, will be processed and approved in 2013 or after.
