I had similar situation when i overpaid my fees at CIC application and they rejected it, by that time my nomination expired and i sent the request for extension using their standard form. They just sent me letter saying 'We will not extend the nomination'....all the best !!!

CIC Application Returned due to "OVERPAYMENT" I am so confused as my application was returned due to Overpayment from Buffalo Office today. On the Application Guide it clearly states that Overpayment is Acceptable....WTF

Come on guys....!!! I applied in May and haven't got a file# (Non-IT) ...and no one who applied in late April or May has got file#'s ... so just have patients !!!

I think that what you got is Larry Cohen Law firm's Promotion gimmick. They have done this to me and my friends, somehow they findout the people applied for AINP and send this kind of nomination looking letter. (Just like credit card company sending almost real looking credit card for promotion...

My Friend got Nomination letter on 24th, he applied in Feb and got his File number on June 24th. NOC 2141. I think AINP is selecting the applications based on NOC and time of application. BTW anyone applied in May got their File# ??? I applied in may and have not receieved file# yet !!!

AINP is dead anyways (at least one year before anything happens and the time-line keeps changing/extending and no nominations due to bad economy), so don't worry. And as far as requirements are concerned according to their requirements you have to have one year of H1-B. So yes you will have to...

Depends on job you wish to look for, if you are applying for project manager job and not technical job then you may not need certification from APEGGA. But again job availability might be different for both as well.
