My ecas went to IP on Feb. 19 and I got my test on Aug. 7, so it is almost 5.5 month, I think it depends on each case and also I see the process going faster since they start implementing the new law. So you probably can get your test by October or November.

Hi Guys, I have some good news for you, I just checked my ecas and it shows the fifth line, they sent me the oath invitation letter on August 25 to appear for the oath on the 22nd of September. I am soo excited, Hope all of you guys get yours soon.

Does requesting the fingerprint reflect on the Ecas? does it add another line stating that a fingerprint is requested? Is your status still "In process" or went to "Decision Made"?

If we think about it logically, they announced the ceremonies on Tuesday and if they gonna start sending invitations on the same time and assuming it takes 3 days for the regular mail so whoever is gonna be invited for next week CAN receive his invitation by today, this is just a guess I know I...

I think you are right, us2yow. it is true that we don't have a judge here in Ottawa and we have to wait until a judge comes from a different city (most probably Montreal), BTW I had the test last Friday and today my Ecas changed to Decision Made, Hope we all together get the oath at the same time.

hgn, Ottawa is one of the slowest offices and lots of us who applied in 2014 just got their invitations, so I think you will probably gonna wait for couple more months, it is usually between 3-4 months since your file is transferred to Ottawa, mine was almost 4 months.

Congratulation Zarzor, that is good for you, it took only 5 months from the day you applied to the test. Still few of us who had applied last year and still waiting for the test.

Mine used to say moved to Ottawa, but it has been disappeared now for a almost 2 months, now my last line is the third line of start processing my application.

I had an experience like yours with my mum and sister, they both were living with my dad who is a Canadian for almost 3 years out side Canada and they came back last summer they both applied for the renewal and they got it with no issue.

I haven't heard about this requirement when applied for my application, is it something with the new provisions or was from before?
