Hello people We sent our passports 15 business days ago. Have not received it back yet. Now in the email they said "you will have ur passport back within 15 day of receipt by our office" we had to send our passport via Fort Erie. I cannot track the return envelope I provided..any suggestions...

8 months of intership is included in ur studies so i dont think it will count towards cec. as far as pgwp goes its one time thing so make sure u apply when u r done masters otherwise u wont be able to apply for pgwp after masters if u apply now. been in that situation before, learned my lesson.

were u able to track ur passpoorts with the tracking number for the return envelope...it took exact 15 days for u.. i cant track my tracking number for the return envelope i gave them...its days 14 today... did u land already???

how to check when was bank draft cashed by cic.?? its day 13 of passport with buffalo office. On the letter it said "ur passport will be returned to u within 15 days after receipt of passport." m so anxious now..

yes i agree with u.. just yesterday i called CIC and asked that i need appointment for may, the lady said by the time we send info to your local CiC office, than they will contact u in 6-8 weeks and give u appointment for whenever they r available and this could take 6-8 weeks. At the border...

if they r willing to apply for LMO they should not have any problem. LMO takes about 6-9 weeks. CEC application takes 15 months but usually its finished by average of 10-12 months. so u have plenty of time if ur work permit expiring in Aug 2013. and u r applying by this july right? u should b...

yes true but our AOR really took 30 weeks for some reason...it just a generic reply they send..do not worry

that sounds good too. i just found out from family friend that we he did his landing he went to the border and got his landing done. he did not have US visa. he also said border officers r aware of the landing procedure.

we did too...same response (30 weeks minimum).. Do give up u r so close to land...think of it this way AOR = medical = passport request = visa = landing :D

we spoke to some family members, they said there r 3 options u could use to land, 1 flagpole 2 go to border and tell them u want to get it stamped as landed. (family also mentioned that border officers do this all the time and they know about this) 3 inland landing - make appointment with visa...
