We got the b number afterwards when they emailed us to pick up the finished visas. The f number should be fine...thats what we used to send the passports initially.

Hey guess what...my wife landed in calgary on fri...all is good. And dont forget your COPR at the border...they didnt put hers with the passports but rather stuffed it in our box of evidence. I dont remember immigration ever mentioning you need it to land until you actually have the paper...

We didnt get a time limit in the passport request...but there might be a standard time limit listed in the application guide for any document request. Also when i called the call center about taking extra time to get a new passport made they were all concerned about the time limit in the...

I used the email from the bottom of the passport request email...in the footer. It sounds like theyre about to send you an email...we got ours at 8am cst which is two hours from now...when the embassy is about to close.

Our status just recently changed to decision made..and they updated my wife's address to canada. This was just after they told us to pick up the passports. They also want us to pick up our cards/letters at the same time

Oh..and dont forget youll get a number starting with a B to put on the consent letter for the courier to pickup. Its a visa issuance number they give in the email.

Yep five business days..sa post delivered the passports last monday morning

Yes, they emailed in response to our email that a new passport is ok. We asked before we sent new passport. Got ok response 3 days after pretoria recieved new passport.

Well we got email from pretoria that a new passport is ok..and that they note that a temporary passport is not submissable. Whats strange is the email came today fri...but SA post showed passport delivered monday morning. Just a delay is email response? The passport was there three days already...

Do they call or email when the visa is ready?
