Finally received the OCI card by mail today morning delivered by purolator. No more dealing with BLS Brampton.

My OCI application was acknowledged after 15 days from submission at BLS. We will not receive any notification or email for acknowledgment

I too applied OCI for minor on 21-Oct-2021 at BLS brampton. Date of Acknowledgement at OCI website is 02-Nov-2021. status change to "OCI Received at Toronto" on 27-Nov-2021. normally , you will see status change after 4 weeks from acknowledgement date.

Ottawa processing time is 2 weeks more than Toronto. my application was acknowledged on 02-Nov-2021 and got status changed to "OCI received at Toronto" on 27-Nov-2021. so, i would say, you need to wait two more weeks because your application is from Ottawa Jurisdiction.

OCI processing time for Ottawa is longer than Toronto. if you dont get appointment at Brampton BLS, you can walkin. i reached there at 7am in the morning and stand in the queue. able to get to counter at 10 am...

I submitted on 07-Dec, my status shows as “In transit from Consulate to BLS Center”. My friends says it would take a month. But for me in one week. Not sure whether it’s good sign or anything going wrong. Fingers crossed

I got only one date question which is easy one. My experience is, the mock tests are real difficult than the real test. Read the book once or twice and practice some test. That’s more than enough... 2-3 days study would be sufficient
